• Range Rover RS500 - Project Kahn

Il noto tuner inglese Project Kahn ha unito nuovamente le proprie forze con quelle del costruttore di motori Cosworth per modificare una vettura della Land Rover. Dopo aver modificato la Range Rover Evoque, le due società di modifica si sono dedicate alla creazione della Range Rover RS500, alimentata da un motore diesel. Il che suona un po’ strano, lo ammettiamo, ma considerando che si tratta pur sempre di un Cosworth dobbiamo concedere quanto meno il beneficio del dubbio. Prima del salto vi chiediamo di immaginare quale sia la potenza sprigionata dal propulsore. Fatto? Sbagliato, è più alta.

L’azienda costruttrice di motori da corsa ha installato sotto il cofano del SUV un possente diesel 4.4 V8 con (almeno) 500 cv di potenza. Per quanto riguarda la coppia massima non sono ancora stati diffusi i dati ufficiali ma, considerando che il modello di serie dell’unità offre 700 Nm, è lecito aspettarsi un valore molto alto.

Esteticamente la Range Rover RS500 modificata da Project Kahn e Cosworth è stata dotata di un look estremamente aggressivo, completato da cerchi in lega leggera RSX da 22″. Di seguito riportiamo l’elenco delle modifiche applicate sulla vettura, così come proposto dallo stesso tuner inglese.
